Accessibility Statement
FinecoBank is committed to making its sites and applications accessible, in accordance with Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004.
This accessibility statement applies to “App Fineco IOS”
Compliance status
This application is partially compliant with the requirements of Annex A of UNI EN 301549:2018 (WCAG 2.1) due to the cases of non-compliance and/or exceptions listed below.
Content non accessible
The contents listed below are not accessible due to non-compliance with Law 4/2004.
In drafting this Accessibility Statement, we considered the WCAG 2.1 standard and collaborated with people with different disabilities who tested the app. They made use of assistive technologies and dedicated functions on iOS devices, such as screen reader VoiceOver, a tool used for the enjoyment of voice reading for people who are blind, visually impaired or have DSA (dyslexia).
Test results show that pages and functions of this application are partially accessible. In fact, some users may find it difficult to complete some tasks or to enjoy some content.
In the presence of tables showing the performance of indexes or individual titles, the reading order of the elements in VoiceOver, the screen reader on IOS devices, does not correspond to the logical-visual order in which the elements are arranged. This makes access to information difficult for blind and visually impaired users. The same happens in the "Account" panel with the iinfographic containing the overview of assets.
In "Economic Calendar," the information icon opens a card that does not interact properly with assistive technologies, requiring the app to be restarted to continue navigation.
In addition, navigation via screen reader can be difficult, as some elements are not identified correctly by the screen reader. For example, when logging in,username and password are not identified as input fields, and in the "Menu" panel some options are not identified as clickable.
Some interface elements lack labels. Therefore, some specific interactions may be difficult for users using assistive technologies. For example, in the "Money Map" and "Income and Expenses" sections, month selection may be difficult. Some navigation buttons and filters also lack labels. Via screen reader, it is also difficult to use the money conversion function.
With some exceptions, the application meets the minimum color contrast/brightness requirement of accessibility standards.
The alternative text that makes graphical elements accessible to assistive technologies, in some cases, is either not present or is in English, For example, in the "Account" panel the element with the bell symbol does not have correct alternative text.
Finally, it is reported that some PDF documents on the application, such as the one in the "Send Money" section, are poorly readable for those using screen readers because they have incorrect reading order, lack hierarchical structure (table of contents, headings, internal links) and text alternatives.
